Don’t worry about leaving Highway 11. There is plenty more to see off the main road.
Almost no-one drives the length of Highway 11 without taking a detour off the main drag. Explore some other areas of the province that you’d probably end up seeing if you took a roadtrip along Ontario’s Highway 11.
Timmins, Highway 101 and the Timmins Area
Go west onto Highway 101 and travel into the heart of northern Ontario, including South Porcupine, Schumacher and Timmins.
Superior Shores and Highway 17
Drive the TransCanada along the coast of Lake Superior and then take Highway 631 into the wilderness of northern Ontario, from Cavers east through to Hornepayne, including Rossport, Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Marathon, White River and more.
